Sesquicentennial


2007 marks the 150th anniversary of the establishment of St. Mary's Priory in Newark, the coming of the Benedictine Sisters to Newark, and the dedication of St. Mary's Church. The celebration will run through the end of 2008.

A Panel Discussion on the role of the local Church will follow the main talk.
After lunch (provided) there will be an open discussion on the role of the church in the city.
